V.F. Corporation Fiscal Q2 EPS Meets Street View

V.F. Corporation, purveyor of apparel under such brands as Vans, Timberland and The North face, Monday reported fiscal Q2 earnings that met Street views while revenue exceeded expectations. Earnings from continuing operations in the quarter ended July 1 were $0.29, in line with Street views compiled by Capital IQ, through down from $0.32 a year earlier.

The company reported Q2 revenues o $2.36 billion, above the Street view of $2.31 billion, and up from $2.32 billion a year earlier. For 2017, the company expects adjusted EPS to $2.94, at the high-end of previous range of $2.89 to $2.94, and a penny below the $2.95 estimate. Revenues is expected to be $11.65 billion, in line with the Street view.
